A few days back, I visited Youmenya Goemon outlet at The Star Vista. By re-inventing the way to eat pasta, each diner was given a pair of chopsticks for the meal instead of fork and spoon.

I had their Half & Half set ($20.00*) which consists of a plate of Tomato Sauce spaghetti with Basil & Mozzarella, a plate of Cream Sauce spaghetti with Crab, Shrimp and Scallop, as well as a dessert and a bowl of Miso soup.

Thinking that the portion of the spaghetti will be quite small since there are two different plates of spaghetti in a single set, I was proven wrong. Their regular size spaghetti was comparably larger than the pasta dishes of many other shops, hence with the Half & Half set, a plate of spaghetti was just enough to fill one's stomach.

Both Cream Sauce and Tomato Sauce spaghetti tasted fine and ingredients used were fresh, neither would I have to say, value for money. Also, what I liked about the restaurant was that the food was prepared and cooked only after we have ordered them, hence they were piping hot when the waiters served them to you. The service staffs were friendly as well, which is a plus point!

Their dessert in the set (which I chose their Mango Pudding) though looks appetising, could have been better.

Overall it was a satisfying meal!

*I kinda forgotten the exact pricing for the set, but it's around $20.
