The Fabulous Baker Boy is located opposite Liang Court, just along the foot of Fort Canning Park. It was in fact not too difficult to get there by public transport, and if you are lucky, several buses actually stop along The Foothills @ Fort Canning Park.
They offer a huge variety of food genres ranging from sandwiches, pies, pancakes, salad to the most important and ever-delicious, cakes.
Something to note though, they do not bake all types of cakes every single day and several days, if you are unlucky, their cakes would have all been sold out. I have read from many food blogs that their Red Velvet Cake was one of the better cakes compared to many cafes and bakeries in Singapore. However, during my visit to the cafe, they did not have them for sale (Too bad! They probably ran out of the cake due to it's popularity).
That said, I did have the privilege to try the other cakes, the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake ($8.00) as well as their Apple Cider cake ($8.50). Both cakes were moist and really rich in flavour. The chocolate was in fact not too sweet, therefore, together with the taste of caramel, it's like the best of both worlds. The Apple Cider cake was excellent as well, you guys should definitely have a taste of their cakes because to me, they were so good beyond words.
